HI!! I was finally able to get WiFi! This is the 5th day of ministry but these were my thoughts from the airport before arriving in Colombia.
Have you ever gone on a trip or done something that made your stomach have these tight, excited, butterfly knots that leave you feeling who knows what way?
Have you ever anticipated something for so long that once you finally get there you can’t really believe it’s true?
That’s where I’m at. For the PAST 11 months I have been anticipating, waiting, and preparing for the NEXT 11 months. And right now, at this moment, I find myself sitting on our flight to our first country of ministry, Colombia. It’s a surreal feeling and I know I haven’t quite processed the fact that I, and my teammates, will be gone for the next year.
I can’t wait to serve with the people the Lord has so graciously put in my path to live this next year with. The maturity and even more, the excitement for the Lord that is displayed in this group is beyond words. I couldn’t ask for a better team of individuals to spread the Gospel with.
I ask that as we begin this journey you keep us in your prayers. Pray big things. Pray bold things. And pray that the Lord uses us in mighty ways that change the lives of people all over the world.
Thank you for your encouragement, support and prayers thus far and I look forward to sharing the stories the Lord gives me as I become a disciple and help make disciples across the globe!
