Right about now I’m at a loss for words. The Lord has worked so many wonders and miracles in my life and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude and love for Him. As I begin this next step in life, I want all of you to be a part of it! I am just now beginning to tell all those around me about this call from the Lord and am so excited that YOU get to be one of the first to know!
I have been a traveller and adventurer since I can remember. Growing up, my parents always took us camping, hunting, exploring, teaching us how to set up a tent and build a fire, clean a gun and safely use it and so much more. I grew up traveling all over the country and occasionally outside the U.S. Then, when I turned 21, I wanted to do more. So I signed up for a study abroad and after finishing all the beginning steps I began a journey that would change my perspective on life forever. I learned a new language, adapted to a new culture and traveled all over the continent. I loved it. So, 2 years later, I decided to go again! This time I went all over Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Peru experiencing one culture and language after another. When I returned, I just wanted to get up and go, I didn’t want to sit still in America. But God put a calming in my heart and I settled down for a while, renting an apartment with my brother and working full time with a seafood company my best friend owns.
Last summer, I got the amazing opportunity to take a 3 week trip out west with my family and see the wonders of God as well as hike the Grand Canyon. Sometime shortly after this trip, God spoke. He told me it was time for me to see the world through HIS eyes; to travel to share the Good News; and to witness to people of all different cultures, languages, religions and backgrounds. So here I go. The World Race.
It’s not going to be comfortable. It won’t be fun being away from those I love. But it will be worth it. I know that God is going to challenge me, grow me, shape me and mold me more into the Godly woman He has called me to be. I will be traveling with a tight-knit family of believers for 11 months to 11 different countries sharing the gospel and bringing hope and love to people who may have never experienced it. I want the whole world to know of the greatest gift I’ve ever been given–JESUS. Will you come along side me; PRAY for me, ENCOURAGE me, LOVE on me, and SUPPORT me? I know the Lord will provide, I have full faith and confidence in His power…but I need your help to make this possible! Please be in prayer for me as I begin this journey and search your heart to give. I thank you for your love and support in so many ways!
