It’s been a little while since my last post on here. Things have been getting busier and crazier the closer launch approaches. The excitement is still there, and the nerves are starting to sink in. But there’s still a lot of determination.
Since my last post, I had two big fundraisers to help me reach my first goal: a garage sale, and a smoked rib sale!
These both went so well!
I had a booth!
We sold a bunch of stuff, we got to know our neighbors more (people around here really love to go garage sale hunting), and after these two fundraising events I REACHED MY FIRST GOAL!!!
What’s next after this? Well, training camp, of course (aside from other things beforehand)! And it’s coming up very quickly. As I continue to pray for God to prepare me spiritually, and work to get ready physically, I’m excited to see what’s coming next.
To finish this post, I want to extend a huge thank you to those who have donated so far to help me along this journey. There’s still a long way to go, but I know that God is in control here.
