It’s been a while since my last blog post, so I thought I’d try to write a little something for Easter. This has always been one of my favorite holidays, along with Christmas. We celebrate the greatest love story in history with these two holidays when Jesus came to be born among us and to die in order to save us. And when I keep thinking about that, I can’t help but get emotional because it wasn’t just these two events where Christ showed His ever faithful love. He continues to love us each and every day, especially when we feel particularly unlovable. I know I’ve have more than enough days like that.

But it’s also that kind of love that is contagious. As the church we should always live each day sharing Christ’s love. And that doesn’t always have to be in big displays. Even the smallest acts of love can have tremendous outcomes.

I’m probably rambling a little at this point, but something that has been on my heart has been wanting the opportunity to do some kind of mission, sharing God’s love in any way I can. That’s why I decided to go for the World Race.

If you were to ever ask me why I would want to go to different countries, way beyond my comfort zone and the comfort of my own home for almost a year, here’s what I’d say:

How can I not?
