Hey!! 11 days in Lesotho, so here’s 11 things. A piece out of my journal or something that I did that day.
1/1 “I find myself feeling uneasy when I know I am about to step into more of my potential.”
*broke through the wall of unease*
1/2 Rested in our new home! Ran out of water, learned how to filter our drinking water.
1/3 “Good morning God! I am going to start the practice of listening to you, going to the secret place.”
Made 3 friends, P.K who is 7, Mh Po who plays piano at the church and Mohammed who is Muslim.
1/4 Took a bucket shower. Helped surprised our squad mate Miguel with a birthday cake and snacks. Listened for God.
1/5 *Adventure Day* Listened for God. Went to Suni Pass with Adria, Shiloh and Miguel. We payed 10 USD each for the hour taxi ride there and back. The view from the car alone was worth it.
1/6 Listened for God. Experienced black church in South Africa Lesotho, told God I’m totally open to marrying a black man. Went to Mohammed’s house with a few friends and met his wife and kids. Saw an asteroid blaze across the sky, almost cried about it.
1/7 Listened for God. Prayed healing over a woman’s leg with my team mate Morgan. We met her with a limp, she walked away dancing without one. Did some gardening at our house. Prayed over my future husband
1/8 Listened for God. Prayer of thankfulness. Our water came back on!
1/9 Listened for God. Went to Prison Ministry this morning, FIVE men gave their lives to Christ! Later this day we went to the local hospital. I shared my testimony and told a man about Jesus. He received the gift of the cross so I’ll have to introduce you to him in Heaven when we’re in our restored bodies. Did some more gardening. Prayed for the world
1/10 Listened for God. Served soup in the hospital and worked through lunch doing some intense labor moving cinder blocks. Sang “Everythings Alright” with my friends under the stars. Heard from God, He called me Daughter.
1/11 Prayed over my friendships at home, cleaned our pastors church, wrote a blog, camped in a cave over night
