We have just finished our time in Thailand and are now headed to Swaziland! I will spend the next three months in Africa with my squad and then head home the first week of June. I can’t believe our time on the race is almost finished.
This month was another hard goodbye. We worked at Agape Home which is an orphanage for kids with HIV/AIDS. The kids have impacted my life in so many ways. The nanny’s at the home who take care of the kids also have HIV. If I could use just one word to describe the home, it would be “joy.” Every day the workers and the kids never fail to give us a smile and even when we didn’t know what we were doing sometimes, they still have us grace.
