One of the first blogs I ever posted was after training camp when I briefly introduced my teammates. To be honest, I had barely known these people for ten days, and I still had a lot of apprehensions and judgments that clouded my thoughts about them. But now I can honestly say I love these six women with all my heart, and I have been so blessed to get to know them over the past six months. So, I am going to reintroduce them a little.
Erika Losik – Enneagram 1w2

Erika is one of the most self disciplined people I have ever met in my life. She is deep and wise, but also so caring and invested in the people around her. When she sets her mind on doing something she puts her all in it and does it well. Her artwork is breathtaking and unique. She knows how to be serious but also to laugh, have fun, and be silly. But don’t let that fool you; she is a savage, and she will destroy you with blunt honesty in the best way possible!
Nicole Riske – Enneagram 7w8

Nicole has so much joy that overflows constantly from her. It’s an infectious joy that just changes the atmosphere. She is always up for anything, whether that be disposing of a dead rodent, walking to coffee, or throwing eggs on the ground. You can always find her reading her Bible and chasing after the Lord with a huge smile on her face! Teaching with her in Thailand has been such a joy because she always gives the lesson her all and loves hanging out with the kids afterwards!
Lucy Kane – Enneagram 2w1

Lucy; this gal! She is honestly beautiful and spectacular and everyone should meet her. She is our fearless team leader, and everyday she shows us what Godly leadership looks like. Lucy reveals God’s love in a deep way, and she makes you feel worthy, important, seen, and encouraged. Quick to place other’s needs above her own, she always goes above and beyond serving us to the best of her abilities while staying humble. She is ridiculously smart and always has a million questions that propel her into deeper depths with the Lord!
Macayla (Mac) Collinsworth – Enneagram 2w3

Macayla throws herself into the relationships she wants to form. She holds nothing back, but puts herself out there, unafraid of being silly, and every time she teaches a class you can hear her and the kids having the time of their lives! She pursues you, asks you questions, and wants understand you at your deepest level. No act of service is too small or too big or too gross for her as she strives to make you feel loved and cared for. Her relationship with the Lord has such a strong foundation, and her identity is rooted firmly in the Lord!
Mady McHugh – Enneagram 9w1

Mady is one of the weirdest people I have ever met in my entire life. She is truly unlike anyone I have ever known. Sometimes I wonder if Mady understands me better than I understand myself. She is always ready to listen to you, to support you. But watch out for her punches, because she hits hard. The Lord is so real to her, and Mady makes that evident with just the way that she carries herself. She is bold in her faith and ridiculously obedient to whatever the Lord has asked of her!
Hannah Carlson – 2w3

Hannah has a spirit of gratitude that absolutely blows me away. If you’re looking for a complainer, she is not the place to go. Her faith is unshakable, and she pours herself out to the Father in worship with her whole being, and you can tell that she only has eyes for Him and what He says about her. Hannah gives loving, gentle correction from a place of humility and wanting to see growth in the other person. Sometimes her jokes fall a little flat for everyone else but herself, but she just has such fun living a life of freedom in the Lord!
That’s my team! I could fill books with all the complexities of their characters and the unique ways I see Jesus in them every day, but I hope these short snapshots give you at least a glimpse of how amazing these young women are!
