I love the way the Lord uses the little things in life to show us how we often treat Him.
For me recently it was my bank account password.
Oh man you should have seen it, I was running around for days asking everyone to borrow their phone so I could call my bank. I was frantically trying to remember every password that I have ever used.
I was having no luck!
I sat still, frustrated that I’ve spent so long trying to find the password.
The Lord said look down and click forgot password.
I looked at my phone and began to laugh, I said to myself Maggie why do you always complicate things.
The Lord sweetly said does this sound familiar.
I laughed because I often do the same to Him.
I try to fix everything by going around the source, and never saying Lord I forgot who i am, please remind me.
Have you ever done that?
After clicking on forgot password I was able to reset and get into my account within 5 minutes.
Same with the Lord, when I actually ask the Lord to reset my heart I tend to feel better immediately.
If your anything like me, we tend to over look the easy steps and rely on our own strength.
