The past few days our nation has been grieving the loss of students in Florida. Not only the past few days, but the past year our entire nation has felt the rapidly growing burden of the increasing amount of school shootings in our country. I have repeatedly heard the words “I can’t even listen to the news without my heart breaking anymore.”
As devastating as these events are, I would like to remind everyone about the good news also happening in our country, and in the world.
JESUS CHRIST
It is as simple as that, even in the middle of the immense heartbreak and devastation worldwide, Jesus Christ is HERE !!
So just a reminder to our world that nothing is too hard for God. There is no situation that is too emotionally draining that God’s joy can’t overcome. There is no heart break to severe that the king of all kings can not heal. There is no infected self image that that he can’t restore. So I would like to pray in the name of the unfailing God to DESTROY the fear in our nation’s hearts. For us to cling to the good in this world, God that you would speak TRUTH within the lies, light up the path that is going so dark. God remind us that the battle has already been won!! Remind us of the power in prayer and love. That we are all the children of a divine king. We should NOT be shackled by the evil in this world, but that we will declare that Jesus is Lord & with God we will overcome and BEAT DOWN all evil in his name.
