Dear Kin,
Three weeks ago I was so excited to start off my fundraising by selling bracelets through threads of hope. However, my health had different plans for me. It started off with a cough then quickly went from asthma to pneumonia (hence the lack of blog post in the last weeks). With me stuck in bed, I had no idea of how I was going to sell these bracelets. So I did what us millennials know how to do best, post it on some social media outlet and see what happens. To my surprise, they started to sell like crazy. It was a good reminder that no matter what God has your back.
Also, update on the gear I need for my trip. One, I just got my backpack for the trip that should be coming in the mail soon! (I am wayyy too excited about that fact) I have also successfully put together a wishlist for what I need, which I will add to the end of this post. I am so excited to see this starting to come together!
Thank you all for the support and love you all have shown me towards this missions trip. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.
