On our last day of school in Myanmar, Abbey and I asked our students to write down one sentence of something that they had learned during our time as their teachers. I thought it would be fun to share some of their responses

We loved to teach our kids about the kindness of our Father, dreaming and creating (writing random words on the board that they had to incorporate into a short creative story was also so fun to listen to), being confident in their beliefs and the words they say, that those words matter, and doing all you do with love and courage.
Reading these simple sentences was such a reminder of the small seeds I get the privilege to help sew. Instilling these kinds of things into our kids, whether it hit them or not, was such a joy and I have so much hope that one day they’ll see how we have the ability for all these things through the father.
Really really love those kids.

I hope I never get used to this.
