Hello. Dobriy den. Buna ziua. Zdraveyte. Xin Chào. Susaday. Sahwahdee. Mingalaba. Hola.
Welcome to my blog, friends! As you may know, I am going on the World Race in August of 2018! I will be going to Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Above are the different ways to say hello in all of the countries I will be going to. I am excited to learn more about each of these countries, their cultures, and their people. I am also beyond excited to see how God is going to move in these 11 months. I am excited to use this blog to share my heart throughout this World Race experience and to share what God is doing in and around me in this next year or so.
In case you don’t know me here are 11 things (keeping up this “11” theme) you should know about me:
- I grew up in a small town in Ohio with my parents and have two older siblings- one of which is married and has two beautiful girls.
- I studied nursing in college
- For the past two years I worked as a staff nurse on an oncology/palliative floor
- I am 25 years old
- I love ice cream and peanut butter – when together, even better
- I love riding my bike, kayaking, hiking, and just being outdoors
- I am a beekeeper (well trying to be at least!)
- I have been on mission trips in the states, as well as in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic
- I love adventures and traveling
- I have a heart for helping and encouraging others
- I am so ecstatic for this journey God has planned for us on the World Race!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope that what God is/will be doing in and through my team will be an encouragement to you. As I embark on this next chapter, I would love your prayers and support as I begin support raising, prepping for this trip, and eventually while out in the field.
