We are now in Peru!
I am writing to you from a tiny little village in Peru. It is close to Tartopo, Peru. We are now staying with a missionary family who is originally from Minnesota. They have been here in Peru for about 7 months now. We will be here for about a week and just continue to do life with them and help them with anything we can help them with. So far we have been hanging out with their 7 kids quite a bit and just loving on them. We also did a healing retreat for the community. We went door to door telling people if they need healing for anything to come to the church and we would pray for them. It turned out pretty well and we were able to pray for a lot of the people in the community. So far we are not sure how long we will be staying here, but once we decide we will be on our way to Ecuador.
It is crazy to think that we are already on month 10 of the race. This time has been flying by. Before you know it we will be November 22nd and we will be Miami. Right now I am trying to stay present with all the things that God has for us in South America. It sometimes can be hard to stay present when you have so many exciting things to look forward to.
I want to share a little bit about how the Parent Vision Trip was. For PVT we were in Mijas Spain. First of all Mijas, Spain is one of the most beautiful places ever. Our Parents came to Mijas for 5 days. My mom came to PVT and it was such a special time with her. It was so cool to be able to share with the parents what we have been doing this past year and how it has impacted me and literally changed my life. I was so proud of my mom to just jump into the uncomfortable. She jumped into every activation, every prayer, and every worship night with an open heart and an open mind. There was lots of breakthrough with the parents, there was healing, and there were past wounds that were brought up. It was just a really special time to connect with my mom in a way we never have before and that is in a spiritual way. It makes going back out next year easier knowing my mom understands what we are doing out here. PVT was definitely life-changing not just for us racer’s and parents but also for the family back home that will be affected by the change. It’s cool to see the change in family members even when you are far away from home.
Man, it’s crazy so many things have happened and so quickly. It is always so hard to write in words what is happening and has happened this year. It’s hard to express the change within myself and within my team. I am super excited to see what God has for us these next 2 months and I am expecting great things. More Relationships to be made, miracles to happen, and a unity within all of us that can never be broken.
Please keep us in your Prayers
