It’s our Squad leader, Jackie’s birthday. So clearly, that requires a blog post.
J-the j is for JOYFUL. Jackie is full of laughter! Her laugh is contagious and will make you smile. She is filled with genuine Joy!
A– “Ahhhhhh” this is a phrase that Jackie uses quite often, flowed by, “I CAN’T!” This is what Jackie says when she finds something so hilarious or hard to believe that it’s all she can say. It’s great.
C-crusty. Don’t ask me what it means. But apparently it’s what the kids are saying these days, and Jackie is the epitome of it.
K-Kind. she is kind hearted-and it is truly a reflection of The Lord. Jesus‘ “KINDNESS leads us to repentance.” Similarly, Jackie’s kind and pure heart help our squad to grow. We won’t become stagnant.
I-inviting; just like Jesus, Jackie intentionally invites others into whatever she’s doing. Whether it’s painting, singing, visiting Carlos, or just simply being-she is always ready to extend the invitation to those around her.
E-Encouraging. Jackie doesn’t just encourage our squad because she’s the leader and is supposed to. She encourages our squad because she genuinely believes in us and desires for our walks with Jesus to flourish. She calls us higher and helps us look more like Him.
