Wow, it’s been nine months. Oh how time passes when you’re having fun, when you’re having struggles, when you stay up all night worrying about tomorrow, when you enjoy the weekend adventure days, when you learn from each person on your team, when you’ve created such a bond with the people around you. The World Race will never be something I forget. The lessons I’ve learned and the people I’ve met and the stories I’ve heard will always be a part of how I’ve changed the last nine months. This has been a life altering experience that will flow into a life time of commitment to how God is going to use me.
God has brought me through the lowest points of my like coming out stronger than I was before. He has given me confidence in calling myself a daughter and princess of The King. He has become my rock and my constant throughout and continuing after the race. Holding my hand and making his presence know.
Helping me understand that it’s okay for me to ask for his blessing on me and my family and the people around me, because he wants to give them to me. I’m his child and he wants to show his love to me as much as he can’t. I mean for goodness sake he’s given us this beautiful world to live in and worship Him.
Through this next transition in my life God has set me up with a discipleship in Gainesville, GA. The abbreviated name is CGA. It’s run under the same organization as the World Race witch is AIM (Adventures in Missions). So I was accepted into this 5 month program and I will be able to further my knowledge about who God is calling me to be. I will learn more about my unique relationship with Christ and how he uses me to reach others in need. This program contains 25-35 alumni World Racers, so I will be with people who have already gone through what I have/ or similar.
I know that God is calling me into this next phase of being discipled more and in a more concentrated way. I will be lead my past mentors that have done the Race as well.
I will be fundraising with this same blog page but less that half of what I raised for the World Race. This 5 month program is just under $6,000 and I am going to be raising this money through jobs at home and many other ways. But if you would like to continue to support me through my next phase of life and walk with Christ please feel free to donate! My page is going to reset within the next couple weeks.
