I know I already said most of this stuff to you already, but I decided to tell the rest of the world because I think they should know a little bit about you and how I’ve seen God through you:). Love you dude.
Okay, everyone, this is Mattie.
Our whole team will tell you that she has the sweetest heart and the most gentle spirit. But when you really get to know her you’ll see her true passion for God that is anything but gentle. She dives head first into knowing her identity in Christ, her spirit is as fierce as a blazing fire.
She shows us how a true daughter of the king looks like. She understands trust, she knows how to love others well, she knows what it means to give yourself as a self-sacrifice, she commits herself to be used by the Father in the way of hospitality, and lastly, she has the “hootspa” God wants in each of his followers. Mattie is God’s ideal person to have bring His Kingdom.
Even though she has gone through some struggles Mattie still chooses to trust God’s plan and lets Him take the lead in her daily life.
Mattie constantly calls each one of us higher to be more like Christ and I couldn’t imagine not having someone like her, so vulnerable, wise, and hilarious on my team.
Her laugh is something else, guys. Her joy overflows abundantly into everyone she comes into contact with, her sense of humor is something I’ve missed having in my life from friends back home (Angel Barnett). She is unique and inspiring to whoever she talks to.
Thank you, Mattie, for being such a stronghold for our team and keeping us on the path to righteousness. You are so loved and accepted on this team. You have filled a necessary spot on this team and God has handpicked you to be on this trip and spread is love and the Gospel of the one true King.
