Over the past few weeks, it has been very cool to see how God has moved and provided. At the beginning of the fundraising journey, I thought that there was no way possible for me to receive/make the money for my trip. I wanted to inform all of you that God has brought in purely from fundraising $5,450 and from work opportunities another $5,750. In total I’m at around $11,200! As this is very exciting, God really has been showing me that He cares and wants me to put all my trust in Him through the easy and hard times.

This really struck me; “Do I depend on God through the easy times as well as through the hard times?” It is very easy for me to be caught up in the busyness of life that I forget to turn back to God and thank Him for the things He has given me to get to that place. Being caught up in the rush of life is very common and I usually forget God. But with such a large amount of money that I need to have for this trip, I find myself depending on God more and more, because the need is so great. While depending on God for all things, I really have been meditating on James 4:14; “Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” “If I were to die today. How would I view the life I lived?” God gave His Son to die for me. I should depend on, and live for the one who cares for me.

God is good, all the time.
