Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for the support you have given me in helping with my trip. God has been leading and teaching me to depend on Him more and more. I will give a recap on the last few months on what has happened and what you can be praying for.

I applied for my trip in January after much prayer and getting advice from my family. After a few phone call interviews with Adventures in Missions-(The organization The World Race is through) I was accepted. I then have been slowly but surely through filling out background documents and applying for my passport. God has been there for me even in the little things. In the middle of April I had a goal of aerating 100 lawns, helping raise money for this trip. I got to 50 lawns after around 3 weeks, and thought there was no way possible for me to make it to my goal. I prayed a bunch, and God really brought in new customers. I soon reached my goal of 100 lawns, after a few more weeks of aerating! I am very excited and want to give all of the credit to God!

I’ve been very busy over the past two weeks with finals, graduating, and working. God has supplied me with customers for my window screen business. Also, mowing with my older brother has begun.

With The World Race, a group chat has been set up that lets the participants in my route “catch up” and get to know each other. This chat has been very exciting. Right now there are 35 members in the group, surprisingly only 3 are guys.

Right now things that you can be praying for are;

1. For me to focus my sight on God, and depend on Him for everything.

2. Encouragement for the other members on my route. Many of them are getting discouraged with fundraising.

I plan to update my blog twice a month and give a recap on what is happening. You can also subscribe to my blog to receive my new posts.

Thank you for your support,

Joshua Petterle
