Jesus Christ is Lord.
Philippians 2:5-11
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:Who, being in very natureGod,did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothingby taking the very nature of a servant,being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.
I’m writing this blog as a teaching. I believe that it is very important to understand why Jesus is Lord. How are we to express to others the immeasurable love/power of God, unless we understand Why He is lord?
I’m not going to be speaking about myself in this blog, but rather Jesus Christ and His power.
Why is Jesus Christ is lord?
Frist, lets define “Deity”
Deity – A God or Goddess (in a polytheistic religion) deity comes from the latin work for “God”.
Yesuah is God incarnate. He is also known as the Christ
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Just in this one verse John says that “He was the word from the beginning.”
John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Incarnation- a person who embodies in the flesh a deity, spirit or abstract quality. In John 1:14 it says that “the Word became flesh” Meaning the fullness of the Deity of the father was made in the likeness of man. THE WORD BECAME FLESH
Its interesting when we think that its not the bible that is printed in a factory that brings the power of God but rather the Holy Spirit revealing the very nature of God in the Flesh. I feel that the more we understand this, the more we will see His power. Humility comes through acknowledging that what God says about Himself is true.
1st Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
Every time we say in our minds and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, We apply “deity” to our savior. We believe what ROMANS 10:9 says “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Ezekiel 1:1
In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
It says in Verse one of Ezekiel that the heavens were opened and Ezekiel saw VISIONS OF GOD.
Ezekiel 1:26
Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.
Ezekiel 1:28
Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
Jesus came in the (YESHUA) likeness of a man. He also came in the “FORM” of God.

Thank you everyone for sticking with me so far. I have had this on my mind for well over a week now and I figured I’d write a blog about it.
Theophany- a visible manifestation to human kind of GOD or a god.
So all over the old testament we see how God appears to people. In almost all of Gods appearances before Christ we’re Him covering or revealing something. Be it through the burning bush(EXODUS CHAPTER 3),Moses on Mount Sinai(EXODUS CHAPTER 19), with Abraham at Sodom and Gomorrah(GENESIS CHAPTER 18). There are many, many more examples of a THEOPHANY in the old testament.
“YAHWEH” IS TRANSLATED TO “LORD”
YESHUA is an INCARNATION of God and not just a THOPHANY
God is God, but He can appear as a man. And He has done so several times.
Genesis 16:9-13
God appeared to Hagar
Judges 6:11-24
God appeared to Gideon
So when we read through the eyes of new testament, we know that God was done just appearing from time to time. But rather sent Himself in the world that through Jesus (YAHWEH) is might be saved.
ISAIAH 45:23-25 talks about Christ’s deity.
