World Race popped up on my Facebook and I ignored it for a good 4 months before clicking on the link that would end up being my life for 9 months. I leave in September and I could not be more excited with what God is doing with my life. I had heard about it from a girl I know and she said she loved it, but honestly I just couldn’t relate to how passionate she was about it. Now, it’s all I can talk about!!
All I want to do is win a shopping spree to REI and buy everything! I now own WAY too many journals and am ALWAYS in the word. God is speaking to me through absolutely everything! I’ll be driving home from work and BAM!! God tells me I need a fanny pack because it is more practical than a backpack. I am just so ecstatic about this trip because God will show me things not everyone gets to see in their lives. My route is probably one of the best, I will be going to Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador! In Acts Chapter 1, Verse 8: it says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you’ and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
I may not leave for another 7 months, but I am overwhelmed with the excitement of this next step in my life!
Why have I chosen this to be the next step on my journey you may ask? Well, because I have never known my purpose in life. I have jumped from group to group trying to decide what God wanted me to do. Now I know.
