Wow! The past 5 months of the Race have been a whirlwind, and the last few weeks have been a tailspin, in the best way possible. At the beginning of December, I said goodbye to the team I had been on for the first leg of this journey, Team Daughters of the Light (aka DOTL). DOTL has been such a sweet sisterhood, memories of days filled with random musical outbreaks, extensive movie quoting, challenging conversation, and beautiful ministry. The bond and the memories we formed will last forever, and we have the inside jokes, and the shared life experiences to prove it.

Following month 4 debrief, the squad experienced team changes, allowing us to move out of established routines, be challenged in new ways, and continue to grow in community. My new team, Team Chosen to Reveal (CTR) is a group of warrior princesses: assembled, armor on, ready for battle, not holding back cries of worship and praise to our King. For the last month CTR has traveled throughout Jordan, battling in ministry to introduce people to Christ, proclaim freedom, comfort those who mourn, and present garments of praise. It has been beautiful and powerful to come together with these ladies, and dive right into lives of ministry and adventure. Sadly, almost as quickly as we said hello, we say goodbye. Amber, a fellow CTR teammate and I will be joining Team Powerhouse, traveling to Greece to serve in a refugee camp. Amber and I knew deeply in our hearts that the Lord was making a way and inviting us into this new adventure with Team Powerhouse. Serving at the refugee camp in Greece has been so heavy on my heart for years, and God’s invitation and orchestration of this opportunity is nothing short of miraculous, but still I am grieving the loss of this beautiful new thing I just began with the ladies of CTR. I am SO grateful to have this hard goodbye because we stored up a lot of treasure in a short period of time. We jumped in together.  We did not hold back. We’ve loved hard in these few short weeks. We are a team. Sweet and fierce women of Chosen, Hadassah the Golden, Austin the Ideal, Kelly the Significant, Nashiely the Fierce, and Amber the Wise, I love you and am so grateful for all that God has done in our short time together, and how He will continue to use each of you in mighty ways to reveal His joy, His power, His glory!
