Between training camp and launch I ordered a personalized key from an ex world racer who prays about prophetic words to engrave on keys. When I ordered mine I asked the Lord to give me a word that would encapsulate this coming year. So when I received my key at launch I was blown away with the word I was given. It is a word that has so much meaning to it and can encompass so many different parts of my life. I truly believe that throughout this year I will learn more about what it means and how to live life truly believing what it says.
The word I got was “HIS”.
Right now to me HIS means I am God’s possession. I am his creation, I am his daughter, I am his treasure, I am chosen by him, I am his beloved, I am his bride. I am so much more and He has so much more for me.
I plan on wearing this key everyday to remember who I am and whose I am. To remember that I do not have to do anything to be His and that I can never grow out of being His. I hope that the Holy spirit leads me to end up giving this key away to someone while on my race. I hope that it will help remind them of who they are and whose they are.
One of the things God has spoken into my identity is that I am HIS gold key. He has made me to unlock doors and chains for other people. He wants to use my story to help other people see who they belong to and the freedom they can have by choosing to say yes to Jesus. So my prayer for this year is that I can say yes to being used however He wants to use me. Because I am HIS KEY.
