Hello,
My name is Jacinta Magwood. I’m 26 years old from Apopka, Fl. I currently live in Stockbridge, Ga along with my mom and my younger sister and brother. Seeing as I moved to Ga in my 9th grade year of high school I always tell people ” I was raised in Florida, but I grew up in Georgia” which I feel describes me perfectly. Not only in my physical and mental transformation (girl to woman) but spiritually as well.
I was raised in the Christian Faith in Florida but, I grew up in my personal walk with Christ in Georgia.
My life, in general, has been a complete rollercoaster ride! From having a roof over my head to homelessness and back again. From knowing who I was in Christ to complete Identity crisis. From knowing my purpose to…well not knowing! I think we can all relate to such struggles whilst in your 20s. Even in the midst of all my wanderings, I knew I was called into something far greater than myself. I was called into full-time ministry. But to what part?! With all my gifting in music; singing, songwriting, playing guitar, video editing, and my ability to teach aside from trying to live life on my own I didn’t know how to incorporate those things into a single sector of ministry. I did know, however, that I had a heart for missions.
I stumbled upon The World Race a couple months ago and immediately felt the voice of God telling me to pursue this new adventure and here we are! I’m so incredibly thankful for all of you who will be joining me on this new journey and expecting the Lord to do great and mighty things!
