HI friends!
With three weeks left till I launch, life has been really crazy. All the goodbyes and preparation have seemed to consume my life. It’s been a crazy amazing experience already but sometimes it seems like all I do is prepare and look forward.
Something I’ve had to really work on is being in the moment, living life where I am and not letting it pass by. This is something I have never been good at. In the past I have always felt like I needed to be a part of everything. Recently God has shown me this amazing peace that comes with sitting back and watching what He is doing in the people and relationships around me. I can now sit back at youth on Wednesdays and watch the kids have fun and not feel like I have to be in the middle of it all. I enjoy those moments with my family, friends and the youth more now than I ever have and I know I’ll be able to look back at these moments fondly months from now.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body. and be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
On another note, we’ve raised $13,068!!!!! That’s so crazy, God is SO good! We only need to raise $2,732 until I’m fully funded! I am so incredibly thankful for everyone who opened their hearts and gave. My heart is so full!
