Uganda be kidding

My last month here in Arua,Uganda! What can I say?

The three months in Africa have not disappointed me. But this post is about my time in Uganda. So this month we have done multiple different things and it’s not even over yet! Also we had to get used to the Lord changing the schedule on us. During the scheduled changes my team and I take the time to get to know each other. Also planning sermons, games with kids and church conferences.

Things have been great when doing multiple different kinds of ministries. We have been going to three different kinds of schools. For children that are in the kindergarten class age group. Been doing lots of games and songs for the kids. If your not a physical touch person while in a Africa I would encourage you to get out of your comfort zone because these kids will love on you like crazy. Hasn’t bothered me at all because to be honest I don’t mind the attention. At least only in Africa… Outside of ministry, there have been children living outside of the compound with their families. I have been spending lots of time with them. Some of them can’t afford to go to school and some try to make ends meet by putting food on the table. So I have been going out to play games with them just so they can feel like kids. It’s been my great passion for kids and I just thought i love kids but I think I would want to do more for kids.

So moving on from this my team and I got to experience spiritual warfare like I have never experienced before. We went to this church and first impression was wow they really worship loud and full of energy. I was like wow this is my area. But then I saw some things I have never seen before. People were shaking, screaming and spitting everywhere. It was also crammed inside the church so it was hot. I was feeling a little frightened at first but I stood my ground, said a little prayer and laid my hands on them and started to pray. That’s something I will never forget.

I got a week of ministry and a week of debrief. Then I am off on a debrief/vacation of my own to the United Kingdom ???? This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. But just because my time on the world race is coming to a end. Doesn’t mean my work is done! We been learning a lot on Kingdom dreaming and I believe I have the calling to do long term missions. I don’t know where but I just know I have to keep praying for the calling.
I hope someday I will do something like opening a place for kids and adults have opportunity for jobs and education. Also I can young men and women to not struggle by temptation. Big dream and I can’t wait to see were God has me next!
