The woman with the gift of prophecy!

Last month I got impacted by a woman. But not just any woman, a woman of God! Her name is Emacklen. She was apart of the tailoring school that we were apart of the ministry in Rwanda. First thing I noticed about her was on how tiny and gentle she is. She seemed a little timid and little shy. But I felt the Lord wanted me to observe her more. Because I knew the Lord had so much potential in her that can only imagine how much of a powerful Godly woman she….

I got up in the morning, took a shower and got my breakfast which the ladies made me porridge. It was a specialty that they made in Rwanda that tasted like grits but sweeter. Anyways we all gathered on a mat in the front driveway where the ladies have their devotion everyday. And get this, they dance and sing during their worship and if you don’t believe me check my Instagram stories. Well after the dancing and singing, this woman with the only bible in her hand stands up and starts praying. I knew then that she definitely had the gift of prophecy.

Meanwhile, we did this thing where we had intentional time with each woman. As we go on with each woman, we had mama pastor aka that’s what we called her. But mostly I called her “mama”. She got to share her testimony with us which really hit me. She was sharing how much this man had hurt her and telling us how she has not forgiving him yet. Which has broken her down for years. So we asked her if anyone would be willing to step in the gap for her and pretended to be the man who hurt her. Then God did something miraculous and she forgave the man who hurt her. Amen!

Couple weeks in the month I ask one of our translator if he could tell how much she has meant to me this month. I wanted to tell her how she treated me like I was her own son. That she has the gift of prophecy and a real prayer warrior. I also ask if she could point out some scriptures and encouragement for me. She said that I will not have to worry about evil because Jesus will overcome that for you. That you will be gifted to share the good news to someone very special. My heart warmed very much in the moment. Also she mentioned if she ever had a son she would name him after me. Very grateful for this woman and pray for her and her soon to be husband to be living a life with Jesus. That’s right she is getting married! She has been blessed with a Godly man. Wow! What a God thing to do!
