I love debriefs
I get excited to see everyone on my squad and hear about their month!
This one is special even more so than the last one because we had team changes!
Also it gives us all a chance to breath and relax Maybe get a little crazy.
Sooo I got my nose pierced.
I had been thinking about it for about a month. A few of my teammates wanted to do something special together before team changes happened. So 2 of them got tattoos and I got my nose pierced!
I was scared I wasn’t gonna like it, but it was cheap and a sweet memory I could share with my teammates. So I did it 🙂
I feel so renewed by it. I had spent so much time during this debrief really questioning my value with my last team and my purpose with my new team.
God has actually used this nose piercing to get my attention. It’s a small stud with a jewel that sparkles in the light. Since its on my nose, when it catches the light I can see it sparkle.
The first time I Really noticed it God took that moment to also talk to me. You are like that jewel. You shine where I put you, sometimes it hurts to go where I call you, but you shine because that’s who you are. No pain can cover up who you are.
This small nose piercing is a constant visual reminder to me now. He loves me so well. He wants me to be who I am wherever he puts me.
I am a daughter of a king and I will walk with confidence and joy.
I am so thankful to peace of freedom (my old team) they are beautiful woman that I have spent the last 4 months with. I will never forget the memories we have created together. They all mean so much to me. In turn I’m excited for new begins with my new team.
