We’re headed to Bolivia!!

I just want to give you guys an update of how awesome this month has been over all before I get to Bolivia and start again.

1.) my favorite thing about Lima, Peru was the Venezuelan family who were living with us. They had the biggest hearts and smiles I have ever experienced. It was my favorite thing to wake up, walk to the kitchen and see them cooking and all together say to me “good morning Hannah Grace!” They filled my heart with love as they shared their home with us for a month.

2.) What made the month spacial?

I loved our ministry. So relationship based! It made ministry so filling for me and my team. I got to meet so many people at out English class and really hear their stories.

3.) What did I see that was out of the ordinary?

A pigeon making a nest in our kitchen and then laying 2 eggs in. Which of course we named both pigeons that would sit on said nest. Mamma June and papa July. They were our kitchen mascots for the whole month. (Don’t get me started on the nest right above our beds with baby pigeons yelling at 5 or 6 in the morning)

4.) What did I learn from this month?

I learned a lot about giving up in the moment things for longer lasting things. As many of you know I fasted this month for the first time ever. Can I just say I’m still trying to understand what happened and what it all means. All I know is that I was struggling with funding and whether I was going to get fully funded so I went somewhere alone to just be me with Papa. What I got was a room full of him. And a request for blind obedience. I fasted for 3 days and what I got was a gift more than just someone giving money to me. I got renewed in faith. God used that person to show me he was still in control and what his will is, will be done.

6.) What does the new year hold?

New foods, lots of laughs, and a lot of growing I hope. I can say that Papa has been preparing me for the new year by teaching me to fast and to renew myself. I’m so excited to grow as much as I can and learn as much as I can before I come home. Life moves fast when you’re not watching. I’ll be so focused on Papa that I won’t even noticed the time flying by. I’ll be home just as fast as I left.

7.) What do I want to tell everyone back home?

I am blessed and filled. I could not be doing this trip alone. I am here because of all of you guys. Whether by your love or by you giving money. You have all blessed me so much. I pray that God blesses you just as much as you all have blessed me. I’m thankful for a new year and excited to see you all later this year!

Thanks for loving me so well
