Hey yall, I just returned from World Race training camp… that was 10 days but felt like a whole month but it was absolutely amazing. I was nervous but ended up loving every second of it. It was absolutely exhausting but worth every minute of it. Worshiping with my amazing squad and growing closer to each other. Hiking what felt like forever. Trying different foods. Putting up and taking down tents several times. Sharing a 10 person tent with about 17 people. Sharing tents and having sleepovers because your stuff got “lost”. And most importantly going deeper and deeper with Jesus and just giving him my everything and my every worry.
25 Truths the Lord placed on my heart at training camp.
1)If the lord doesn’t break you how can he piece you back together the way he wants to shape you.
2)The lord doesn’t ask you to give up only a little he asks you to give up everything for him.
3)Coming out of your comfort zone is okay.
4)God loves me too much to leave me the way I am. He wants to change me for the better.
5)The Lord blesses us so we can bless others in his name.
6)Keep your eyes on him and anything is possible.
7)When time gets hard and I’m wondering why?…… the why is for Jesus.
8)Trust fully in him no matter what.
9)Grace will always focus on your heart.
10)God will find you before judgment can.
11)Sharing your story is an act of courage
12)You have to have a YES in your spirit.
13)Jesus asks you to forgive because he forgave you.
14)Forgiveness will never change your past but it can change your future.
15)Your not forgiving people to set them free but to set yourself free.
16)It’s not about me,….. it’s much bigger.
17)He may not be safe but he is and always will be good.
18)I am a child of God! I am his daughter!!
19)You’re always a good father.
