- Thank you for Mack’s willingness to share EVERYTHING, and sorry for always taking your stuff lol.
- Thank you for Kori’s amazing voice and her willingness to be a goofy sister with me at ALL times.
- Thank you for Melissa’s farts, in the middle of the night, while cleaning the compound, and while brushing her teeth. Smelly Melly I love you.
- Thank you for Lexi’s boldness, she loves to talk to strangers and isn’t afraid to have fun and look like a “dweeb” while doing it.
- Thank you for Abby’s MANY accents that constantly keep me wondering who is actually talking, and her love to live loudly in every way (shower jams bring life).
- Thank you for Sophie’s willingness to get sunburned just to hunt for “lagartijas” (aka lizards), and her love of the game “what are the odds” even though she loses 80% of the time.
- Thank you for Ella’s crazy drive for adventure, that rubs off on me. She literally tried to scale a mountain this morning and got told it was “too dangerous”… she didn’t think so.
- Thank you for Alyssa’s sneaky humor and her love for all of us, despite how crazy we all are. (I see your awkward dancing to “Dance With Somebody”).
- Thank you for Aly’s sarcasm, witty humor, blunt (but always good) truth, and awkward camera run. We are missing you so so so much this month!!
If you didn’t know, this team was not once 11 people, it used to only be 9. Between training camp and launch, we added two people to our team, switched team leaders, and switched squad leaders! Lots of big changes, but all for God’s purpose. Thanks, God, for the changes because without them I wouldn’t be loving and enjoying life right now in the same way.
Mini update! I’m about $1,500 away from my final fundraising goal!!! I have until January 15 to be fully fundraised, so if you could share my blog with a few friends via email, Facebook, or simply telling them about my Gap Year mission trip I would greatly appreciate it!
