Before training camp my former roommate gave me a book named “In a pit with a lion on a snowy day”. The book is based on the biblical story from Benaiah which is described in only two verses. The book was a blast! It felt like I had to read this book in this two weeks! The words were exactly tailored on my well-being, my experiences, my thoughts, my struggles – they set my heart in motion. Imagine the fullness of the bible when only two verses speak such a fullness in the middle of life, in the middle of the heart!
Those who know me know that I love quotes! So I take the try to describe what I felt with the following video I made with full of quotes from the book by Mark Batterson. Enjoy it and let the words speak to your spirit. Maybe watch it over and over again like I do. Or better consider to read this book as well!

At last I wish you same experiences. Experiences from a God who speaks in your life through other people who do a simple action step like lend a book. And let us not forget that God uses our own life as well to speak to other people’s life!
