My name is Emily Olsen, I grew up in the Chicago land area, Naperville/Aurora area. I have the privilege of attending the University of Alabama, where I am a sophomore pursuing a degree in Public Relations, with a minor in Computer Science, and an emphasis in non-for-profit. I am on the route five gap year program, (in this order God willing), Swaziland, India, Nepal, and Guatemala. As some of you may know I went to Nepal this past July for the month through AIM. You also may know that I am using the power of prayer to not lose anymore body parts in Kathmandu, as I had an emergency appendectomy this past summer while there. I’d appreciate it you prayed specifically that I wouldn’t end up in anymore hospitals while overseas. This missions trip is nine months long, about an academic school year, and I will be backpacking through the countries alongside 35 (and growing) of my closest friends! Its the adventure of a lifetime, and best of all spreading the good news around the world.
