Thanks to all of you for your donations and support for the people in Gorkha, Nepal.
Here is an update of where your support went to. It is very difficult for them to make a living to provide for their families. They live in the mountain so to go to work they have to walk 2 hours every day up and down the mountain to provide for their families.
They were all so appreciative of it. Thanks so much for providing food (rice, oil, daal, snacks) and school supplies (paper, books, pencils, erasers, sharpeners,)for these families.

Bishnu Maya Sunar
A 76 year old women. This lady lives alone with her granddaughter, completely blind and is very helpless right now. So with being in a hard situation like this she appreciated your gift of generosity so much.
Maina Sirmal
A 66 year old women. She supports herself and her son Mangal. Her son was evil possessed, people used to tie him in big chains so he was not capable of hitting people as well as himself. By the grace of God he is now a born again believer and is free from being tied up, but he is now recovering from deep wounds of the chains. Through this he is not able to work but is taking medication for his wounds to heal up. So not only does this lady provide for herself but her son as well. So she was so thankful for the gift you gave.
Bhim Kumari Sirwal
A 76 year old women supporting herself and grandchildren. Her children passed away because of HIV. That is why she is taking care of her grandchildren. The grandchildren also have HIV, so this lady is very heartbroken. So keep praying for her and her family.
Anu Pariyar
A 35 years old woman. She doesn’t have a husband. She is suffering from female-related illnesses. So this gift of love was very appreciated by her.
Asmita Nepali
A 46 year old women whom is paralyzed in one hand. But still tries her best to work to provide food for herself and her 17 year old daughter. This gift meant so much to her.
These are the children that were blessed to receive school supplies to go to school. Some of their parents passed away so they stay with their grandparents. Others are still with their family but the father is paralyzed and the mother brings in the income. They were so thankful for all the support you gave through prayer and financially.
As you can see they were very thankful for this. Keep on praying that revival would happen in these people’s hearts as New Jerusalem church ministries keeps on sharing Jesus with them.
