Greetings from Romania ????.
I am going to be honest. I am having a very hard time in posting blogs. I am sorry about this as I know you all are waiting for an update or you want to know where I am and what I am doing. I discovered why I am having a hard time. I let my perfection take control and rule my life. So an end to that.
On every team we have a story teller. Laiken is the one for team Talia. She is an amazing inspiration as she not only encourages or gives us ideas she leads us by example. She is faithful in posting blogs and it inspires me to do it as well.
So here is my thing. I have not told you anything about my journey in the months I served in Zambia, India, or Nepal. In the next few days you will be receiving one a day until I have you up to date. So stay tuned but in the meantime here is something for you to enjoy.
So my story teller is great at keeping me accountable but it is also up to me to make the choice to do it.
We have team time almost every day, we each take turns leading out and it is up to the person who is leading to come up with something to do. So this one particular evening for team time we played a game of writing a story by each person saying one word. We then connect the words to form sentences and soon it forms into a story that sometimes just doesn’t make sense. That evening I said if I don’t have a blog posted by the following Monday I would post this story.
LOL!!! I didn’t get a blog posted. So here is the story team talia came up with.
The title is…
Backpacks
The backpack hung by a tall tree. It was not a jacket or a tire. The world did not apply because it isn’t square. J church went to the bank and got a dollar to pay for a backpack. Seasoned racers did find how backpacks hang on a tree. What luck! They then asked for the answer from God to show where the backpack hung. This led others to desire free food and drinks and backpacks. This story ended perfectly.
Even tho it might not make sense to you. It’s ok. It gives you an idea that we are having a great time together not only in the ministry but as sisters and brothers in the Lord. We live everyday as life is ministry and ministry is life. We choose to love and enjoy each other in the moments when we are loving, laughing, moody and messy. It’s life and it is what we make out of it. I love each of my teammates so much as well as my squad. We can do this because of Jesus. “So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.”
Hebrews 9:11-12
Thank you for being praying, being patient and supporting me on this journey. Only God can reward you for what you are doing for me.
I appreciate you! Blessings!! More is to come.
