As a little girl I always dreamed of serving in orphanages, and love on those children. We received different newsletters of organizations of people going on mission fields and pouring their lives into the poor people. Sharing Jesus and then hearing amazing testimonies from people who found Jesus! It really just warmed my heart!
” For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
In my little mind tho I never figured I would get the chance….
….. to chase after my dreams
….. to serve the poor
….. to travel the world
But I believe in this…. “ And I am sure of this, he who has began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
Today I stand in “awe“ of how God has and is working in my life. If I give him the key to my life he will open doors to where he knows what is best for me. I just need to take the step in faith, trusting him, all is ok in the palm of his hands! I am his! A daughter of the living God! Loved, cherished, adored above all by the creator of all who is greater then all things!!
In finding out that stepping into uncomfortable places/situations, is where I grow the most. Being Courageous!! 
In 2016 my dreams started to become real. I walked the land where Jesus walked! (For 2 weeks) In Israel, the dessert was one of my favorite things, as it was teaching me that I can’t do life myself, but to build community. Lots of other things as the Bible became more alive when I read it.
So after that I asked God what is next??? What do you want me to do and he answered my prayer through the verse ” she opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy,” and I went to Greece on Lesvos island to help with the refuge crisis their. That was for 1 month. As I left there I was thinking next time, I want to do long term. So in the not knowing, I decided to stay at home to build stronger relationships with my family and just pour all of my heart into my workplace, in cleaning, mentoring, whatever came up. ?? Diving into that I was ready to be stretched again. So I started praying, asking God what is it that you want me to do next, I feel like I need something very adventuros to grow deeper in your word. (“Ask and it shall be given to you”) A week later (yes a week later!)?? God answered my prayers through Charity Yoder. She introduced me to the World Race. I said yes God, I am willing to go.
So the next step is raising funds to go and it looked really huge to me. But I believe God is going before me so he will also provide that for me. It is for his honor and glory. To put God on display!!!
