I will be celebrating my THIRTIETH birthday on the race. Yes I said it… 30! YIKES!
I am a Michigander.
I am the most introverted extrovert you will ever meet. What does that even mean?!? If you know me – you know exactly! If you don’t know me personally – stay tuned. You’ll learn!
Family is LIFE! Seriously, my heart can’t even handle how much I love them.
“Wow, you really are as weird as they say you are!” Growing up, we heard this A LOT… To me, that is a compliment at its finest!
I LOVE PURPLE! I am drawn to anything purple. Purple crayons, purple flowers, purple paint, purple candy, guys in purple shirts. Wait, what? 🙂
Reading is my favorite. Anything by Ted Dekker, C.S. Lewis, Frank Peretti, & Lysa TerKeurst, Are my favs.
I am a Disney FREAK. Aladdin, Mulan, & Remember the Titans are my all-time favorite movies ever. Yes, I have had a school girl crush on Ryan Gosling since 2000 – before it was the cool thing to do.
I love sarcastic banter – I have years of watching, loving, & memorizing Gilmore Girls to thank for that.
I am a girl of few but inseparable friendships – I think they deserve the world.
Coffee addiction runs deep – Im told that will be my cause of death.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE traveling, adrenaline, and adventures. New people, new cultures, new challenges. LOVE it.
I love crafting, sewing, drawing, woodworking, DIYing, playing catch, acting like a child with my nephew and nieces, watching movies, dancing terribly…. & TACOS.
The list could go on and on – but the most important thing to know is that I love Jesus. He died on the cross for me so that I could have eternal life in Heaven. How.Cool.Is.That!? He is the reason I am able to love people so deeply. He is the reason that I wake up every morning and know that I have purpose. I couldn’t imagine going through life without his love and grace. That is the sole purpose of this mission – to share the love of Jesus, that I am fortunate enough to have, with those who have never heard his name before – so that they have the opportunity to know what it is like to have a Savior that loves them unconditionally.
