A Dream – The World Race.
That‘s all it has been for the last 5 years. A Dream.
Until Now.
Imagine leaving all that’s ‘normal’ and ‘comfortable’ behind for 11 months while you explore who you are and who God has called you to be. Imagine traveling the world caring for the lost and the hurting. The World Race is an 11 month missions trip around the world in which missional teams experience what the first generation of disciples did: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and hearing the voice of God.
We will be working with farmers, in orphanages, and churches. Sharing Jesus with remote villages, red light districts (sex trafficking victims) and prisons. We will be spending the entire year doing nothing but being God’s hands and feet in any situation we find ourselves in.
For the last 11 years, the World Race has been sending a generation into the darkest parts of the world. Taking the love of Jesus and sharing it with those who need it most: this includes 3 billion unreached people, 18 million orphans, 4.5 million sex slaves, 9 million in prisons, and 795 million who are undernourished.
I am ready… to trade in the comfort of my home, my warm bed, and all my STUFF – for a backpack, tent, cold showers, and a week’s worth of clothes… to GO to the middle of all the terrible places we see in the news every day. I am ready to help clean up disasters…To see the glimpse of hope return to the villagers faces when you tell them about a man they have never heard of before named Jesus…To tell the prostitute that she has so much more to live for…To clothe and hug on the orphans and tell them they still have a Heavenly Father that loves them. I am ready to go.
Anything to make a small difference. Even if the entire year is only to change the life of just one, it’s worth it.
In August I will be meeting my teammates for the first time in Atlanta, GA for a two week intensive training camp. There will be 40-50 of us officially launching in October. We will all travel as a group to each of the 11 countries but will split off into smaller groups in different locations/ministries once we arrive at our country of the month.

The funds raised are needed to cover travel to and from training camp in August as well as plane tickets to each country, housing, administration, tent/sleeping bag/backpack and other essential equipment, food, medical and life insurance, as well as money for personal items needed throughout the year. As much as I wish I could – I cannot do this on my own. I need your help!
