Yes, this is about fundraisi-Wait! I see your interest dropping, hang with me a little longer.
Throughout this blog it has been my goal to give you, my supporters, friends and family, an honest reflection of what has been happening here. To take you with me on the ups, the downs, and the messy, beautiful, God given moments in-between.
With that in mind I want to humbly, sincerely ask for further financial support. The vast majority of you who read this blog are responsible for my being here at all. Your generosity in supporting this mission has been the most staggering portrayal of the church’s support I have ever had the privilege to witness, much less be a part of.
It is my prayer that I have stewarded your investment well so far, bringing the Kingdom and keeping you updated as best I can. Yet I find myself wanting to do more. I want somehow to earn your donations, but I cannot. It is through your continued generosity alone that God has provided for me thus far, and will continue to provide for the rest of this journey.
In this the Lord has continued to push me deeper into dependency on Him, and through Him… you. So I ask you simply to please consider supporting me, knowing that I have nothing to offer in return except my story. Our testimony is all we ever really have to give, and I pray my continued testimony of the things to come is enough for you to (or continue to) partner, with me.
I am a visual person, so make things simpler for everyone I’m using the tried and true Adopt-A-Box method. The principle is simple. Each of the below boxes represents a donation amount, and by donating the designated number you “adopt” that box. The sum of all these boxes will get me fully funded! Yay!
But wait, there’s more! God continually talks about an upside-down Kingdom, one in which the last are first and the poor inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. So I want to reverse this blog. I would like to ask that if you have a story to tell, whether you have been affected by any of these blogs or God has been on the move in your life, that you write it in the “comments” section when you donate. After all the boxes are filled I will publish them in a blog. This is not to glorify me, but rather come together and celebrate the power of the stories God has entrusted each of us with.
