It is an interesting thing amongst the world. Most of us know the meaning of transparency. It is no wonder why we constantly need to re evaluate our hearts and minds in order to reveal the truth. I have been on this journey with God for the last 7 months and I have continually felt growth. I have noticed a few key reasons why I have seen growth.
-
Walking in self truth
-
Knowing who I am
-
Listening to our father God
-
Pressing into the struggles
-
Constantly battling spiritually

Choosing love daily
My six practical daily steps to live as a kingdom servant
1. I constantly check my own heart to make sure that I still remember myself. If I am not in touch with the truth about my good qualities, my bad decisions, and my wrong doings then it’s time to self evaluate. It is really easy to get distracted and feed our self lies. If you find that your close to perfect take some time and think about why others have done to you what they have. Life in our mind is very clear until we start to understand most of us are not very transparent. We actually see through a dirty lense thinking it’s fully transparent and clean. We as people can choose to see all of who we are or we can choose to only see parts of who we are. The self truth that we needs is actually in our daily choices. If we know our self so well then why do we repeatedly end up in situations that lead us to bad attitudes and negative lifestyles? Seek to know who you truly are and continue to press into truth, within who you are not who you want to be.
2. Who are you? I don’t know about you but I am a man created in the perfect image of God. we find in the bible very first thing we are created in the image of God. why do we accept this worldly mentality? Hello I am Daniel Sperry and I do electrical work. We are so caught up placing worth in what we do, in what the world wants, we forget who we truly are. Quit finding value in what you do! I choose daily to press further and further into who I am and that’s not easy. If it were then we would all walk boldly in who we are. Matter a fact most the population about 85% of people in the world hate what they do for a living! What you must be kidding, why would we want to do things we don’t like? Know who you are not who the world knows you to be. Take the steps that others don’t be bold in who you are not what the world wants you to be.
3. You ask how can you hear God? This is easy, spend time alone with God seeking new growth, asking questions, asking for revelation. I have noticed most of us want to see miracles in our life. Our first instinct is to ask for the miracle not seeking to ask our father God about why it is happening in the first place. You see continually seeking a new perspective of what God is doing helps me to see that I am where I need to be. I heard this awesome quote somewhere I think in a book (we pray for a table/miracle when God has given us a tree and the tools/talents to make a table). You see it is easy to ask God the wrong questions and get no response. Take some time to seek out hearing the voice of God. It took me 2 years in Hawaii every day about 2-4 hours sitting with God pouring out my heart to learn how to really listen to God in a raw real way daily.
4. Human nature is pulling away from heartache and struggle. You ever ask yourself why you don’t want to struggle? It’s hard, I don’t feel comfortable, I can’t do this! Right where the devil wants you. Let me share something with you. We will always have struggle on this earth until Jesus returns! We constantly choose not to look at struggle and often do everything in our power to avoid it. I disagree with this! struggle is hard that’s right and when we get past our self we will find most of our life is filled with hard times and struggle. Life really is hard and there is more time spent struggling than costing in life. Most people retire at age 67 why wait until then to start living? A bold prayer that I have stepped into is, walking willingly into struggle pursuing joy amongst my pain and struggle of life. You see I find it easy to step into struggle without needing to fight avoiding it or trying to go around the feelings. Step in you will find that our process in which we operate is not the most efficient.
5. You have heard of sacrifice. In the world around us spiritual battle is a fouran language. Due to our freedom to choose all things we believe in and do it opens up the door to shut out what we don’t believe in. When we choose to step into a life of kingdom serving God through Jesus Christ we are actually stepping into sacrifice. Spiritual battles are daily a thing for me, the further and deeper I walk with God. I think that in our hearts we proclaim we are willing to sacrifice without fully understanding what it means to sacrifice. Spiritual battle is a very real hard thing in the kingdom of God. we are promised that the battle is won and we can walk in victory! We still must battle the evil of this world and the attacks of the devil that come as arrows in the night. We choose into spiritual battle once we choose Jesus for the battle is won but the war wages on.
6. How do you love? It is easy to talk. it is much harder to actually walk in what you have talked. Love is action, love does not always come easy and is often not deserved. When you say that you truly love someone it is a declaration by mouth that is to be backed up by actions. We want to (love our neighbor as yourself) but often times we find ourselves not doing a great job at this. Love is a choice that we make daily not an obligation. Often we only see the joy in love and overlook the struggle it takes to truly love one another. As easy as it is to say the actions following loving others is much harder to walk out daily. As people we have so much pride in opinions and self worth. We measure others by what they can bring to the table. I make a daily choice to die to self and instead of speaking what I think about everyone or thing I quietly sit learning from each person I come in contact with. God has revealed to me that loving others can look as simple as sitting with people and hearing what they have to say. It’s easy to constantly want to help others by pressing our own ideas and plans (aka us helping) without actually helping them! Try next time you feel you have to talk thinking your loving someone, just sitting in silence listening to each word said taking to heart the emotions expressing the words. It is easy to talk love into people it is a little harder to really listen and sit with others truly showing and expressing love through your actions. All people are different and need to be loved in different ways. all people love to be heard and given room to talk about what they have to say. so why not learn and love in listening closely to what others have to say. It’s an easy thing to love others once we start listening to others.

I pray this draws you closer daily to God
