While I wait for Gods purpose for my life, it will pass by but that does not change the rhythm daily that we have with Our father. While i seek to better understand how and what community living looks like I am finding a pattern of what it looks like to have a relationship with our father!
There is struggle with communication there is grace given that is not promised. Our relationship with our father is a lot like living in community. While we have an entire life to struggle through alone or we can choose to struggle in and with community! It’s extremely difficult to choose grace over a fight or to choose to hold your tong when you know you were wrong. While I am growing into community I am learning how to love others and how to love our father in greater depths.
Countless times in the Bible it mentions that people are not meant to do life alone and it is not an easy route to choose life with others. What God does with us and in us through community brings us closer to Him in such unpredicted ways. While our day can be filled with such a variety of different emotions our father wants us to love each other and Him above all.
This looks like community where issues occur problems with perspectives may take hold but the true test of faith through community is to always love each other no matter the circumstances. Looking out for one another is hard and cannot be faked! it takes love. To seek the best out of and for others takes love! with out love it becomes a bitter resentment towards others.
I encourage each of you to take the step into a relationship with the people who are hard to love.
Ecclesiastes 10:5- just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
