Why do we put limitations on our life? is it possibly the way we see others or the way we grew up or from personal experience? I believe that we have only created limits in our life so we do not have to deal with the struggle of failure. I think about a story when i limited myself to accommodate my friends or the time I let those around me put a limit on how high my ceiling can be. I want to ask each of you to ask yourself the same question who and where is my limits! the thing I am getting to with this off limits thing is more so than not people feel like they are unable to grow because they have been limited to the life they have or that they truly don’t want to deal with the added stress or struggle. I have been seeking out a lot of material on leadership and discipleship only to find out that I needed to actually read and learn in order to grow into understanding.
It takes action in order for us to change our perspective by seeking and intentionally growing through the inevitable tough times. I was listening to a service by Bishop T.J. Jakes and he puts it this way, God will only bring us to the next Level in our life if we are wiling to fight for it and there is a lot of purpose in fighting to grow in all ares not just financial but also our minds our life our perspective. he starts to go into the fact that we have to learn to build and fight build and fight without one you lack what it takes to remove the cap from your life. I can vividly see what he is meaning with growing and fighting its a lot like life and we will have people or times that we will just have to fight through. God has designed us to have amazing talents and if we are not willing to fight through the tough times to get to the next tough times( AKA following God and being a leader doesn’t get easier) then how do we truly know our limits! it is shown many times in scripture with Moses leading his people they all bickered and complained# limits but our God our life is designed for more a lot more than we can possibly imagine.
I want to jump into an amazing deeper understanding on prayer. Think about all the things that man have created houses, tables, cars, chairs I don’t have the time to go into history. God did not make the tables, chairs, cars, buildings He merely supplied the raw materials trees, metals, rocks etc. I am getting to the point that God has blessed us with amazing talents and abilities when we pray we ask for a table or a chair its not how God has designed us we are praying for the wrong things AKA asking the creator of all things to focus on making a chair! while I can imagine Gods telling us to use what he has blessed us with use our talents use the gifts explore take the limits off. This life has become limited because our imagination is in a lack to many of us are more focused on what others are doing and how they do it to use our own creativity/ talents for God to show us that the limits we put on our life is not the limits He has in store.
I was listening to a lady teach about the human brain and how amazing we truly are. She went into this amazing way to get our brains back on the right track. its really really hard in a world filled with so much! she explains in detail her name is Dr. Caroline Leaf; (detoxing your mind: Elevation church)! she explains that if we spend 9-16 min a day for 60 days doing absolutely noting but daydreaming we will start to train our brains to focus on the good fruits and stop producing bad fruit. this is amazing and I encourage you all to watch it or listen to it on podcast gives amazing examples and a great place to start if life has been getting you down or getting tough and you notice your not in the best of shape spiritually. God has limits for our life lets start to live to find out the limits He has placed not the ones we have created! Our future looks really great when we can understand that the limits we put on our life is not where we have to stay lets start the movement today and start to train our brain then we will be able to stop putting limits on what God is trying to do in our lives though our obedience.
