I have been in Guatemala for a little over a month, and everyday I am amazed in the beauty all around me. I leave my room and in the field there is this beautiful yellow rose that brightens my day when I see it. On the way to ministry I pass lovely wild flowers, when I take the chicken bus we pass by mountain full of trees that makes you want to go exploring, in Antigua you get a wonderful view of the volcanos, volcán de aqua and fuego as the clouds surround them. As I went to San Pedro I got on a boat where I watched the waves and the rain drops that hit the water that creates a ripple. Which reminded me of Jesus when He calms the storm and as the rain stopped I saw a rainbow in the sky that reminded me on Noah and his ark and that the rainbow is still a sign to this day of the promise He made to us so a rainbow is not just a beautiful thing but that it has real meaning behind it to this day. As I went paragliding I got to see all the land and body of water from a view unlike I have before.
Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered water He called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
I got see the volcanos, volcán Tolimán and volcán Atitlán from the air which was a blessing beyond compare. Every sunset and sunrise, every star in the night sky sings His praises.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
My spiritual pathway is nature and all that it beholds. Every time I see nature I see God, He speaks in all He created.
Isaiah 44:23 Sing for joy, you heavens, for the Lord has done this; shout aloud, You earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the Lord has redeemed Jacob, He displays His glory in Israel.
There is a song that I heard from my church that goes along with all creation.
