In Colombia me and my team decided to create and pray over an impossible prayers list. We filled the list with things that there’s no way we humans could ever accomplish. It has challenged us to take God out of the box and remember that He is capable of more than we could ever give Him credit for.

One of the things on that list is that each member of team more amor would see a friend from the states. For sure not gonna happen.

This past month we have been serving at an organization called Pan de Vida. They do many wonderful things for the community, but one of the precious things they do is put on Christmas parties for all of their beneficiaries every year. From the beginning they told us that our team would get to help with the first party for over 250 people. Wild!

I found out a friend from the states was coming to Quito and that her stay might overlap with mine. Terri Frazier went to college with my parents and is someone I’ve known my entire life. She told me the dates of her trip and they were the last week of my stay in Quito! Whaaaat?? Wild.

Now mind you. Quito is stinking huge. I knew that just because she would be in the same city didn’t mean seeing her would be easy or even possible. So I just asked where she would be during that week. Got any guesses on her location for Wednesday?

Pan de Vida.

Not gonna lie. Totally cried.

God cares about all the little things that matter to us. I didn’t realize how much my heart needed to see someone from home. But He did. So He perfectly orchestrated our paths to allow that need to be met.

One impossible prayer answered! Ain’t that cool?
