These are just a few words that I would use to describe my teammate, friend, and sister in Christ, Charity Yoder!
I remember when I first met Charity in person at training camp-she was very quiet but also very joy-filled! She was always open and willing to lend a hand if someone else needed help! Getting to know her has been a beautiful journey within the World Race!
I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from Charity! She has taught me the true value and importance of being truly who God has created me to be! One of my favorite things about her is that she is very open to share about the culture she grew up in and why she does things the way she does them. This, however, was not instintanious or overnight-I have seen her grow leaps and bounds in being comfortable with who God has created her to be. I also have witnessed her being open to share with the team and not let anything of her past stifle her from being who God is molding and shaping her to be today!
Charity says things like they are and she makes me and our whole team laugh with her funny sass in her personality! She gives to others even if it’s her last, she thinks of others before herself and loves others with such a big heart!
To Charity’s supporters: THANK YOU for praying for Charity, encouraging her, following her journey and financially supporting her! Without you, I wouldn’t have the awesome opportunity to meet her, be on a team with her, get to know her, and share in this beautiful World Race journey with her!
