A few snapshots to give you a glimpse of my time in the DR.

We lived at Hope Mountain for a month! It was home!

This is the mission house where Ruben and Vicki live. Three of their daughters, Selina, Starr, and Solimar, were there as well. We had quite a few fun times in that pool!

Times like this one. One afternoon, we didn’t start our work right away after lunch because of the downpour. But some still had lots of energy – so they jumped into the pool!

This was our view! Every. Single. Day!

We got to attend one of the churches that the Dominguez family started in Santiago. This was maybe our third Sunday there and two of the teams squeezed in a van and headed to church!

One day my team got to go teach English at the school down the road. What fun we had! The map definitely caught my attention!

And the children! They loved learning so much!

Our squad of 33 sat together at these tables three times a day to enjoy Margo’s yummy meals!

Good to the last drop!

Intercessory prayer, worship, teachings… These were all done on the roof (or as I called it: the ‘Upper Room’). Beautiful times there!

This little green fella says, ‘See you next time!’
