Hello, my name is Carson Pollreis (pronounced however you would like, because I honestly don’t know anymore). I am 23 and live in a small town in Northwest Arkansas called Gravette. I graduated HS in 2013 and began community college immediately afterward. After 2 years of working and going to school full-time I left school and began just working full-time for Wal-Mart’s Home Office. After doing that for a year I knew I wanted to go back to school and work on finishing my degree so that I could one day become a teacher and a coach. I enrolled at the University of Arkansas in 2016 to work towards finishing my degree. During my time at Wal-Mart and community college I was asked to coach a youth basketball team in my hometown of Gravette by some parents I had known. It turned out to be the best decision of my life and I continued to coach them for 3 years until they started school ball. On top of that I work with multiple HS basketball players to help them become better people and players. I am currently a substitute teacher for Gravette HS in hopes that it helps me to be a better teacher in the future. Everything I do in my life is to help me prepare and become a better role model for the kids I will lead in the future. My hope is that this trip will do the same in making me better and stronger in my faith so that I can better lead the next generation I encounter and work with. That’s about all there is to know about me! If you have any questions or want to know anything else feel free to ask me!

Peace!
