It’s not goodbye just see you later. I’ve never had to do anything like this before, so it’s all new. Usually when you enter into something new it can be scary at first, even if you know the Lords hand is in it.
Tomorrow we depart for the Philippines. As I step out in faith trusting my Lord as we fly across the world, I am reminded of His faithfulness. The way He led me to this trip. The ways He confirmed it. The ways He provided far more than I ever expected and the way He prepared me for this specific moment. He is SO good and I am 100% confident that it is Him who led me to exactly where I am. He chose me to bring light into the darkest of places. He chose me to live out His will in the 11 countries I will travel too. He chose me to bear His name, to be His hands and feet. To love the orphans. To be a disciple who makes disciples. To serve. To exalt His name. What an honor this is.
To those of you who have given, I don’t think there is enough words to truly express my gratitude for you, and how thankful I am to The Lord for each of you and the part you’ve played in making this possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are such an important part in this Kingdom journey I am on.
To my parents, saying goodbye was so hard. Really hard! I am so thankful to you and for all you’ve done to prepare me for this moment. I thank you for your unconditional love, support, prayers, and everything you have done for me since day one. You have led by example, and I am so thankful that at such a young age you taught me about Jesus. I love you very much! I already miss you so much, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me go into what the Lord has called me too. You are the best!
To all my friends and the rest of my loved ones. I couldn’t have made it to this point without you. Of course, I will miss you like crazy, and often will be thinking of you; but knowing this is exactly where the Lord would have me gets me so excited. Thank you so much for the endless amount of love, prayers, and encouragement! You all are a blessing and I can’t thank you enough.
On Wednesday, I will arrive in the Philippines where my will spend one month partnering with Kids Internal Ministries. The day after we arrive, we will have orientation to find out more about what we will be doing. Me and my team are so excited to partner with this ministry to serve and love these people.
I thank you for your prayers as my group travels to our first country.
Much love and many thanks, Calin
