Hi everyone! It’s hard to put into words everything I am feeling after training camp. It was by far one of the most impactful two weeks of my life. It consisted of everything from odd sleeping arrangements, to bucket showers, eating bugs, hiking, hearing from God, amazing worship, freedom, friendship, dancing, laughing, evangelizing, healings, loving on people, living in community with one another, to saying “yes” to all that God has for us on the race.
I was able to meet my squad which consists of 37 young adults who are ready to go out and share the love of Jesus with the world. My heart was so encouraged as I got to hear each of their stories and see how the Lord is working in each of their lives. Within my squad we were broken up into teams of 6-7 individuals. These individuals are the ones I will be doing ministry with in each country. Teams were formed a few days into training camp after a lot of team building activities, one-on-ones, and praying. I am so thankful for the team I was paired with. Each one of them is full of so much joy and we can’t wait to take that joy and spread it to others around the world.
I would like to introduce you to my team. We have named ourselves Vessels of Joy!

Amanda is our team treasurer. She is 22 years old and is from Chesterton, IN. She graduated from Purdue University for Veterinary Technology. She is most excited to be a light for Jesus and to bring hope through the Gospel.

Hannah is our team storyteller. She is 24 years old and is from Ganinsville, GA. She went to Belmont University and has been a manager at Nordstrom for the past two years. She is most excited to learn about different cultures, love people well, and share the gospel with the people she meets.

Brynna is in charge of logistics for our entire squad along with 2 others, Paige and Jacob. Brynna is 22 years old and is from Coopersville, MI. She graduated from Michigan University with a degree in clinical exercise science. She currently works as a recruiter for a staffing company and has been a camp counselor for the past 7 years. She is most excited to spread the joy of the Lord and lift others up.

Jeorgianna is 22 years old and is from Reading, PA. She is a small group leader for her youth group. She is excited to see God move in ways like never before.

Sydney is 20 years old and is from Atascocita, Texas. She is a young life leader and is excited to love on the Lord’s children and to learn more about Him every day!
And then there’s Me

I was honored to be selected as my team’s leader. I am most excited to share the love of Jesus and grow in the Lord in new ways.
These girls are a true example of Christ and I cannot wait to see them grow in their walk with God. They have already blessed me in so many ways and have been a huge encouragement. I am so excited to be able to do ministry with them.
Thank you to everyone who was praying for me while I was away at training camp. I learned so much about myself in those two short weeks that I never really thought about before. I was able to share my faith, be a light and encouragement, and most of all draw closer to God. So excited for what’s to come and to be stretched by God.
If you are interested in supporting me on my journey you can do so at the top of the page where it says donate.
Thanks again!
