Hi! Welcome to my blog. Haha! I never thought I’d write a blog ever, but God has a great sense of humor! Whether you arrived here through clicking randomly or because you actually know me, I am honored that you are still reading. I hope you will know me a little bit better through my blog and I’d love to get to know you too.

My name is Bonnie, but you can call me BonBon, CinnaBon, Bonye West, Bonquiqui, Bonfire, Bonster… or whatever other creative name you come up with! I think nicknames are so fun.

I am the youngest of four kids with two phenomenal biological parents. But I believe it takes a village, so there are many other important people in my life that I claim as family. The Lord gave me a victory lap at UGA this year since he knew our football team was going to be so good #GoDAWGS!!! I switched from business to education after spending the summer after my sophomore year of college in Belize. It added on an extra year of school and more student loans, but I am not complaining. Lord willing I will graduate in May and be certified to teach Health and Physical Education for grades K-12. If you are wondering how I can apply to be a PE teacher while I am on the World Race, that is a great question that I don’t have the answer to.

I love love love people. I can’t wait to love on God’s children from all around the world. One of my favorite things is talking to strangers until they are no longer strangers. In May, I will be attending the wedding of one of my best friend’s that I picked up off the side of the road three years ago. Picking up strangers isn’t always safe, but it worked out in my favor. I also love awkward situations which might be perfect if I end up teach middle school health.

I can’t wait to ask God when I get to heaven, why he made the food that tastes so good like cookies, brownies, chocolate, so bad for us!

I have no idea what to expect on this journey, but I know I am going to need a lot of prayers and encouragement. I would love for you to journey with me, even if it’s just through the words on my blog!

Have an awesome day! Jesus really does love you!

Love,

Bonnie
