Can a blog be a poem?
I don’t know, let’s find out.
Little girl and me,
It’s time to walk away from the throne
You’ve placed yourself on, without ever having known
But do you see who’s there, who you keep looking to?
The One for Whom you’ve been created
The One to Whom you belong
Let go of the arm chair
The problem-solving, the saving
There’s a One who knows already
For you, life is waiting
So walk on, young woman,
With the girl you used to be
Let go of her hand
And watch yourself run free
Love, value, safety,
It’s all found in Him
The One you said yes to
The One that’s now within
He’s on the Throne unshakeable,
Where you could not sustain
He’s taking over completely
Run free and let Him reign.
